Curl up & Dye

I always thought that was the most hilarious name for a beauty parlor. Recently Emma got her first haircut. She decided she wanted to cut off 10 inches so she could donate it. She was so excited. I have to admit that I was excited not to have to brush through her hair every day. The wind here always whipped it into a mass of tangles. She loves her hair shorter although her friend Ty misses her longer hair. :)

While Josh's parents were visiting, Aaron and Grandfather drove around to look at some of the dairies. Aaron still talks about seeing all the cows.

Movie night

Every Friday night is movie night in our house. I was letting the kids start the movie while I cleaned up from dinner. I heard Jacob fussing but I decided to finish the kitchen before I put him to bed. Eventually I didn't hear him any more, but when I went into the living room this is what I saw. What a little mama!

Long time no see

In march, Josh was down in Florida for three weeks with work. His parents brought him back to us. :) We were so excited to have them visit since the last time we saw them was in August. The kids had so much fun and are already making plans to come out this summer.

If the shoe fits...

When I got up from dozing on Sunday on the couch, this is what I saw. Emma, Aaron, and Abby were clomping around in my shoes--Josh's too. They were 'going shopping.' I love it when they all play together.

winter wonderland

We've waited patiently and finally we got some snow before winter officially ended. The kids had a blast although I was more than ready to go into the warm house and drink some hot chocolate.
